All our cedar chests are carefully constructed with a variety of hard-woods, and built with a quality and technique that will make them last many lifetimes. Much of the work is done by hand and all the joinery is "dove-tail" to make it the strongest. They are all beautifully lined with aromatic cedar, and hand finished to a beautiful luster.
This chest has beautiful wood-grain set off nicely by a natural finish. It has three large panels on the back. Two narrow panels on each end, and ten smaller, tastefully balanced panels on the front.
There are no catches or tricks to opening the cover and it automatically holds itself open. Especially nice when you only have one hand free. Inside, the chest is artfully lined with aromatic cedar to keep your keepsakes smelling fresh and free from moths.
